I always wanted to work on projects that educate kids. I have had opportunities that many don’t get experience. Working in the computer gaming industry, picture books (self published),t shirt designs,Highlights magazine hidden pictures and much more. I always felt like there was something missing or that I have failed. People always making comments because I was working a “regular” job and not in the art world, never seeing that I was also working hard to pursue my illustrating. I worked on many projects that just never went anywhere.

I would ask God to find my place in the world and felt like I never got the answer. I was to blind in my self loathing to see the signs that were given to me. One day God answered me by having my friend Vicky put me in contact with Emma.It’s been about 2 years now and our projects just feel right, plus I get to share the word of God as well as help children with learning disabilities. We do this with me in the United States and Emma in Australia.

So while it was not how I had planned my career to go, I have to say I have never felt more successful in my life. Don’t feel like God has forgotten you or not heard you. He is just working out his plan for you and sometimes it’s the hard parts that will make you enjoy the successes! Even if it is not how you imagined.
