Mark MacKay: Illustrator

My favorite thing about being an illustrator in the children’s market, is that in every piece I create I get to be something else. One day I am a hockey player and the next I am a tiger. It is the best part of the job, there are no limits. If you use your imagination and you can be anything, anyone or anywhere!

I live in the beautiful northern New Hampshire, at the base of Mt Washington. Most of my time is spent in my studio illustrating and researching my Scottish heritage. I have been drawing for as far back as I can remember, in fact my mother says I was born with a pencil in my hand. That must have been one heck of a delivery!
