Mark MacKay: Illustrator

My favorite thing about being an illustrator in the children’s market, is that in every piece I create I get to be something else. One day I am a hockey player and the next I am a tiger. It is the best part of the job, there are no limits. If you use your imagination and you can be anything, anyone or anywhere!

I live in the beautiful northern New Hampshire, at the base of Mt Washington with my wife and our cat. Most of my time is spent in my studio illustrating and researching my Scottish heritage. I have been drawing for as far back as I can remember, in fact my mother says I was born with a pencil in my hand. That must have been one heck of a delivery!
